The Villages Hospital Letter Campaign

The Villages Hospital Letter Campaign

This is a campaign started by some of the volunteers at the hospital.  It has the enthusiastic support of the hospital administration.  Let’s join them !!  Your letters and cards can be dropped off anytime into the letter tub on Evelyn Krawczyk’s front porch (1101 Presa Pl).

Call to arms….Grab pen and paper.

Let’s start a letter campaign.

Patients are without family members and visitors whether they have the virus or not.  They have to feel pretty isolated and lonely.

Staff are working hard and mostly without a great deal of gratitude.

If we, who are stuck in our own homes, wrote letters we could brighten someones day.

The letter campaign was suggested to the hospital and they do approve.

If you would  like to participate it’s simple.  Grab some paper, or cards, write your thoughts, and deposit them in the designated neighborhood letter box.    The letters will be given to Chris Kasprzak (Tierra Del Sol) every Tuesday and Chris will take them to the hospital on Wednesdays which will be the “drop off letters day.”

You can involve your neighbors and friends.  The more letters the better.  And we can keep them coming day by day.

Envelopes should be unsealed and the front of the envelope should be labeled “Patient” or “Staff” which will help  get them to the intended individual.

I hope you will consider joining us and any suggestions are welcomed.

Thank you,

     Chris
