March

Please share this e-mail with any neighbors who are new or do not use a computer. Would you also inform me if you have a new neighbor so I can get their information for the Club Directory.

The Hacienda S/W Women’s Club will meet on Tuesday, March 13th at 9:30 a.m. in the Ricardo Montalban Room at the La Hacienda Center. Come early for sign-ups and refreshments. Our Speaker will be Holly Hollingsworth, Women’s Health Coordinator at the Villages Regional Hospital.

Our new fundraiser THE WHITE ELEPHANT TABLE will be set-up for our meeting. All members are asked to bring 1 or 2 items for the table. The items should be new or slightly used and you must mark the price on each item. Before you leave the building please check the table and take home any item you brought that did not sell. All proceeds will go to the General Fund. The table will be open for one-half hour before and after the meeting.

Our new website is progressing very nicely thanks to Evelyn Krawczyk. Evelyn will tell us about it and she will give a short class after the meeting to the members who want help. Please bring your device (I-Pad, I-Phone or Lap Top).

The website address is www.hswwclub.com – please bring your questions or concerns to the meeting.

Dues ($10.00) were payable January 1st and are now past due. Please pay at the March Meeting or mail to Phyllis Davis, 942 Ramos Drive, The Villages, FL 32159.

Charlie Amante who serves as a District 1 Supervisor reported that District 1 is the most financially solvent among the 12 districts. They recently improved the median strip from Morse Blvd. to Soledad Way and all the cul-de-sacs accept Presa Place which will be finished soon. More improvements are forthcoming.
