Welcome back. Ihope everyone had a good summer.
The HSW Women’s Club will not have a September meeting due to Covid concerns. We hope to meet inOctober if conditions improve. Club members have been contacting us regarding their concerns over Covid and indoor events. Following discussion, the Board voted to suspend all events for the rest of the year with the exception of Sunset Point Wine & Cheese in October and the Golf Cart Holiday Caravan in December. I would like to thank the event chairs for their work and planning of these events and hope they can be rescheduled at a future time.
PAST EVENTS
Thank you to Stephanie Littlefield for organizing and hosting the Spice & Tea Exchange afternoon tea andKelly Miller and Evelyn Krawczyk for Bingo which was greatly enjoyed by all.
COMMITTEES
Sunshine Committee – Please keep Karen Thorson (259-4741) informed of any new neighbors so they canbe welcomed by the committee.
Club Directory - Please keep Evelyn Krawczyk (414-640-2548 or evkraw@gmail.com) if you have anychanges in your e-mail address or telephone number.
Prayer Chain – Please keep Terry Lastowka (352-255-1155 or tlastowka1069@gmail.com) informed whenyou are in need of prayers for you or your family. If you would like to be added to the e-mail prayer chainplease contact Terry.
Charity – The Charity Committee presented the Board with information on the Christian Care Center andrecommended them for our 3rd quarter donation and it was approved. Thank you to the committee fortheir continued efforts.
Nominating Committee – The committee will present the slate of officers for the year of 2022 at the Octobermeeting.
