The HSW Women’s Club will meet on Tuesday, March 8th at 9:30 a.m. in the Ricardo Montalban Room at the La Hacienda Recreation Center.
DUES: Phyllis Davis will be accepting dues for 2022.
PAST EVENTS: Thank you to Juliette Testa for arranging and hosting the Game Night with Rick Mitchell, it was a great night.
UPCOMING EVENTS:
No-Tap Bowling – Sunday, March 20th from 5-7 p.m. at Spanish Springs Lanes – cost is $13.00/person and includes bowling, rental shoes if you need them, tax and prizes. Breakfast & Peddler’s Wagon – Wednesday, March 23rd – Breakfast at First Watch at Spanish Planes at 9 a.m. – Car pool to Peddler’s Wagon in Eustis for shopping. Canvas Painting – Tuesday, April 19th at 11 a.m. – El Santiago Recreational Center (Art Room) – Lavone Scott will instruct us on a pouring on canvas art project – she has a variety of techniques so everyone can make something new. The cost is $20.00/person for a 9x12 canvas painting. Also includes a bookmark or jewelry findings for earrings. Maximum attendance is 16 – sign up early so you are not disappointed. Broadway with Billie – Tuesday, April 26th from 6:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. at the La Hacienda Recreation Center, Ricardo Montalban Room – Cost is $10.00/person. Enjoy Billie Thatcher as she sings hits from Broadway musicals. BYOB and snacks. Guests are welcome – must have Village I.D. or guest pass. Guest Speaker: Following the business meeting our guest speaker will be Meredith Chesire, owner of FAVE Plant Therapies in Sumter Landing. She will discuss therapies for stress and sleep.
Chuck Knaus Memorial service will be at 8:30 am at St Timothy. Breakfast will be at Waterfront Inn at Lake Sumter Landing starting at 10:00 am. If you are unable to attend Mass please join Pat for breakfast. RSVP Pat at 352-250-4644 or pak1040@yahoo.com.
