OFFICER REPORTS
President:
President Maria Guerrera addressed the membership advising everyone to stay after the business meeting for a fun holiday themed cupcake decorating presentation by member Nina Scerbo, Hacienda South.
She advised that we have the High School Luncheon (which has limited spaces available), the Annual BBQ, and the Holiday Luncheon lined up over the next couple of months, and to make sure to sign up at the back table.
She also reminded everyone that if you need name tags, see Barb DiLaura.
Vice President:
Vice President Barb DiLaura briefly talked about the Holiday Luncheon, as well as the upcoming dinner dance in January. She read a thank you note from Cornerstone for our club donation.
Secretary:
Secretary Sandra Schupp was not present and Barb DiLaura, acting in her stead, reminded members that the minutes are available online and copies are on each table. She asked if there are any changes, additions or deletions to the October minutes. There being none, upon motion to approve by Nola Bishop, and seconded by Stephanie Littlefield, the minutes of the October 8, 2024 meeting were unanimously approved, as presented, by the members present.

COMMITTEE REPORTS
Upcoming Events:
Tree Lighting, December 8th, 2024: The Board is the Chair. This is a Neighborhood event and has been moved to Presa Place this year. It will start at 5:00 pm and be a traditional Pot Luck with BYOB. The Board has hired a live band to perform at this event, and planned in place of the December Dinner Dance by the Club to cut down on event stress during December. Paper goods are provided by the club. Volunteers to help set up and breakdown needed.
Annual Ladies Luncheon, December 10th, 2024: The Chair is Barb DiLaura. The luncheon will be held at the Glenview Country Club, and will cost $23 per member. The actual cost is $33.64 pp, however the club will absorb $10.64 of the cost.
Holiday Dinner Dance, January 19, 2025: The current Board has procured a room at Chula Vista and scheduled this fun holiday event to jump start the new year events for the new Board. This has also been done based on past feedback from membership that December has too many events.
Nominating Committee
Joanne Hegarty (Chair), on behalf of the nominating committee, also consisting of Linda Scamardi and Joanne Phinney, asked if there are any nominations for the HSWWC 2025 Board Members from the floor. There being none, Chair Hegarty requested a vote of members on the following nominations:
