History
The first meeting of the Hacienda S/W Women’s Club was held on April 9, 1996 at The Paradise Recreation Center with 40 ladies in attendance. Allie DeBenedittis, who founded the Club, was elected as the first President.
The purpose of the Club is both social and charitable. Activities include monthly social events, ladies golf, couples golf and a mixed bowling league. All ladies living in Hacienda South and West may become members by paying $10.00 dues at any stated meeting or by paying the Treasurer.
The Club meets on the 2nd Tuesday of each month from September through June in the Fernando Montalban Room at the La Hacienda Recreational Center.
Name tags can be purchased at Custom Apparel & Gifts at 3451 Wedgewood Lane (near Giovanni’s Italian Restaurant) at a cost of $7.49. Tell them how you want your name to appear on the name tag and have them use the format for the Hacienda S/W Women’s Club.
