The Hacienda S/W Women’s Club will meet Tuesday, May 11 at 9:30 a.m. at the La Hacienda Recreation Center.
DUES: Phyllis Davis will be accepting dues for 2021.

Thank you to Pat Lowe and Robin Davidson-Smith for organizing a well attended women’s luncheon at Lopez Legacy Restaurant.
It was a great Flamingo Party on April 5th – thank you to Wayne Beal and the Boardwalk Band for providing great music, to Kelly Miller for organizing it and to Patty & Wayne Beal for hosting it.

Bocce Golf/Pizza Event – May 8th from 4-7 p.m.Pizza is compliments of HSW Women’s Club. Contact Barb Fasulo no later than Thursday, May 6th at 352-425-3405 if you would like to join us. We still have a couple of openings.

Bingo Scavenger Hunt – May 15th – June 26th – Collect Bingo Card at Poker Run or print from Website, complete it during this time frame and turn it in at the Scavenger Hunt. August 29th – 5-7 p.m. – Pot Luck Supper. Chaired by: Karen Thuresson and Joanne Phinney.
September 19th – 5-7 p.m. No Tap Bowling followed by dinner at McCalls. Chaired by Juliette Testa.
Reminder: Sign Ups for all events can be done through our Website, at the monthly meetings or through the contact listed.
COMMITTEES:
Cookbooks: We have approximately 50 cookbooks remaining. For the benefit of our new members the cookbook contains about 500 recipes submitted by members of our club and has been an excellent fundraiser over the last few years. They sell for $10.00 and also make a nice hostess gift. Joanne Phinney will have them for sale at the May 11th meeting. If you are unable to attend the meeting call Joanne (750-9193) and she will drop one off at your house.
Sunshine Committee: Please keep Karen Thorson (259-4741) informed of any new neighbors so the Sunshine Committee can welcome them.
