Last month I attended the Resident Lifestyle Meeting for Leaders and will share a couple of interesting facts with you.  The Villages is now 43 square miles.  They have added 240 groups since 2017 bringing the total of resident lifestyle groups to 2972.  So, we must be very flexible when reserving a room for any of our events.  They are presently transferring everything to the Max Galaxy Program which will allow the to do much more on-line; for example, permits for room reservations.  You can sign up for V-Mail and get e-notifications on what’s happening in The Villages.  Their website is www.districtgov.org– lots to learn there.

Lyle Laveau went to the Lord on September 22nd – he had been in a nursing home for several months and recently started Hospice Care due to failing health.   His remains will be brought back home to Wisconsin for burial.  There will not be any local service.  Expressions of sympathy can be sent to his wife, Dolores Laveau at 1052 Soledad Way.

Caroline Anderson went to the Lord on September 19th at Cornerstone Hospice following a 3 year battle with pancreatic cancer.  Services for Caroline have now been held – the service was private with only family and a couple of close friends attending.  Expressions of sympathy can be sent to her husband Henry Anderson, 1051 Soledad Way.
